Free Bots for Popular MMORPGs Now Available

The site is now providing the gaming community with bots for MMORPGs like Diablo 3, World of Warcraft, Black Desert Online and many more, completely free! Bots usually come with a hefty price-tag ($150+) but FragCache has taken it upon themselves to provide us with free bots, which is well appreciated.

Currently they have free MMORPG bots for Diablo 3, RuneScape (OSRS & RS3), World of Warcraft & Final Fantasy XIV. Most of them have features like gold farming, battling, PvPing, fishing, grinding and anything else you could possibly need. More bots are also to come for new games like WoW: Battle for Azeroth and other big upcoming game titles.

RuneScape has always had free bots, but paid scripts you have to load into the bot. FragCache is providing scripts for free with more to come. A lot of them are upwards of $15 per script on the standard RS sites.

What’s A Bot & Why Use Them?

MMORPG bots / macros are software programs that can do autopilot tasks like crafting, farming and much more. Bots work by themselves as long as your computer is on (or if you install them on a VPS).
World of Warcraft is probably the most famous game when it comes to botting. People, especially in China, create real businesses based on botting in WoW and selling in-game gold for real money. They have large warehouses setup with several computers & bots running the game 24/7, to farm in-game gold. Some people leave the bot on to level up the character, then sell it when it reaches max for cash.
So to summarize: Bots take tasks that are repetitive, boring and time wasting things like fishing and do them on auto-pilot while you sleep, play some other game or eat.

Can I Get Banned With Bots?

Well, yes. But that all depends on you. If you run your bot on maximum speed, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, you might get detected and slapped with a banned sticker. Compared to cheats like wallhacks, bots do not inject anything to game .exe, so there is no way of getting detected by simply running a bot.

With that said, bots doesn’t always behave like human players and if someone is spectating your gameplay you might get reported. This is why you need to take some precautions before botting in your favourite RPG game. The most common way to get detected is your play time. A human being can’t play Diablo for 24h every day, so it’s probably best to try and run the bot for max 12-14h/day with some days “off” here and there. Mimic a human and you’ll be fine!
